Want to make your own gingerbread-inspired syrup for cozy drinks at home that will remind you of the holiday season? Luckily, there’s a recipe for that!

Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup water
• 1 tablespoon molasses
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves

Preparation:
Mix all of the ingredients in a saucepan and, occasionally stirring, bring it to a boil.
After it comes to a boil, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Then store it in a sealed jar or bottle in your fridge. It should be good for a few weeks.

Use it to add a gingerbread note to your hot drinks this season, including coffee, cocoa, and tea. Or use it to create a festive cocktail in place of simple syrup in your favorite recipes.
